Do you charge for estimates?

All estimates are free in the areas we typically service.

What areas do you serve?

We service the greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky areas.

What types of payments do you take?

We take all major credit cards and personal checks. You may pay via mail or phone.

What does “caliper” mean?
In most cases, trees from nurseries are sized using the caliper measurement in inches. Caliper is the distance across the trunk of the tree measured approximately 6-12" off of the ground.

What are your hours?
Our office is open Monday-Friday from 7:30am to 5:00 pm. For existing clients, we do have an arborist on call for emergencies during off hours.

Do you do tree work through the winter? How can you prune trees in the winter when no leaves are present?
As winter approaches, one of the most often asked question is “How can you prune trees in the winter when no leaves are present?” We have skilled, trained arborists on staff who can tell live branches from dead branches at any time of the year. In fact it is often easier to distinguish dead branches when the leaves are gone.

Is MTC&L fully insured?

Madison Tree Care & Landscaping, Inc. (MTC&L) presently is insured for liability resulting from injury to persons or property and all employees are covered by Worker’s Compensation, Code 0106RN, 9102RN, 0042RN or 9402RN. Upon request MTC&L will supply a client with a copy of Certificates of Insurance.
