Pest & DiseasesPests & diseases can harm and kill trees and shrubs in the landscape, incurring unwanted costs in removal and replacement of affected plants, as well as unsightly voids in the landscape.
DIAGNOSIS If you think your tree/shrubs may have an insect or disease problem, please contact us. We will use the best resources available to identify the issue and provide options for treatment. In most cases the problem can be identified on-site by our staff of skilled arborists, landscapers, and turf specialists.
And here is where we differ from others in the business. We are don't prescribe treatment every year just because we have treated something in the past. That is irresponsible to both our clients, and to the environment. When you participate in our Plant Health Care program, one of our ISA Certified Arborists will come out and walk through your property each year to identify and monitor the landscape. We then make recommendations for treatment, if needed. Contact us to evaluate your the health of your landscape.
Plant Health Care treatments often include fertilization, chemical applications or injections, and pruning. All treatment programs are customized to each individual clients needs and wants.
Fertilization. Appropriate fertilization of your trees and shrubs can keep the plants healthy with a stronger resistance towards insects, diseases, and abiotic disorders. Read more about our fertilization services.
Treatments for Diseases & Pests (Applications & Injections). Applications can either be applied via a foliar spray or an injection into surrounding soil or directly into the sap flow. As the seasons change, we tailor our program around attacking the diseases and insects that harm trees during that specific time period. Some diseases and insects can only be treated two or three weeks out of the year, and with our help, your trees and landscapes can be ensured a safe and healthy environment to live in year round. Organic plant health care options are also available in many cases. Pruning. Often times pruning can prevent or help treat pest and/or disease issues.
